FAt Dissolving
Fat Dissolving injections are a non-invasive alternative to liposuction for small fat pockets. It has been marketed widely as a body sculpting treatment. It is a medical formula, similar to stomach acid, that is injected into the target area to break down fat cells, causing them to die and be excreted from the body through the lymphatic system. Fat Dissolving injections can also help to reduce the dimply appearance caused by stubborn areas of cellulite. The procedure is relatively painless, with minimal downtime. However, post-treatment effects such as swelling in the treated area, bruising, redness, and itchiness are common. If treating the chin area, it is recommended that the treatment be performed at least three days prior to any important events, due primarily to the potential for swelling. Common areas for treatment are the chin, mid-upper back/“bra rolls”, stomach, hips, and thighs; but treatment can be personalised to target any areas of unwanted subcutaneous fat. Results can take 4-6 weeks to be fully visible, however, once the dead fat cell is excreted from your body, it is gone forever. To prevent the creation of new fat cells, it is recommend to follow a healthy diet, paired with regular exercise.
PDO Threads
PDO threads can help to combat sagging and boost the production of new collagen to create the appearance of firmer, tighter, more youthful skin. Using medical-grade sutures that have been used in surgery for many years, PDO threads will dissolve over time, however the collagen created around them will continue to provide volume to the area giving skin-firming benefits for up to three years.
There are 3 main types of threads currently available, all which carry less risk than fillers, and longer-lasting results, which is the reason for their rising popularity. PRP has been seen to have positive results on scarring, especially acne scarring.
PRP can also help with androgenic alopecia, by stimulating the cells, promoting new hair growth and thickness, when used in conjunction with topical creams.
